GUIDED RIDING POLICIES:

Reservations are preferred during the summer, but walk-ins are welcome.

Advanced reservations are booked and confirmed with a credit card on file.

You have up to 24 hours before the scheduled ride to cancel without penalty
(72 hours for meal rides). If you cancel within that window or are a no show,
you will be charged for the ride.

Rides go out in all weather. Cancellation due to unsafe weather conditions is
up to the discretion of the barn manager. Our mountain weather is
unpredictable, and we do our best to make decisions based on as accurate
information as possible.

Please wear long pants (suggested for your comfort) and closed-toe shoes
(required).

We do have a weight limit of 225**.

Any children riding on a guided trail ride must be 6 years old AND 48 inches
tall without shoes. No exceptions.

You will be required to keep both feet in the stirrups, hold the reins and
understand instructions given.

Please remember, this is a single file, walking trail ride.

If you are late arriving, it will impact your ride time or may cause you to miss
the ride completely.

Any rider not adhering to the policies listed above may not be allowed to ride
and will still be responsible for the fee.

** If a rider is at or above the weight limit, please give us a call.

All unguided riders must be 18 years old or older and state that they are a
level 3/Expert rider. A level 3 rider can ride any horse, in any environment and
any situation.

We require a $500 refundable deposit per horse rented. This can be cash or
credit card. Riders are required to leave their driver’s license, credit card and
car keys at the front desk if not leaving a cash deposit.

Horses must be returned in a ready condition to be used again within 30
minutes.

If a horse is brought back overheated, overran, injured, or needs more than 30
minutes for recovery, the rider will be charged for time lost in use and any
possible vet fees.

Any tack returned broken or missing will also be charged to the rider.
These conditions do not constitute all possible scenarios of charges that rider
may incur.

Any rider not adhering to the policies listed above may not be allowed to ride
but will still be responsible for the fee.
